GenWell has driven me to share the message about the importance of human connection with my family, friends and team at the library. I would encourage any leader to hear Pete’s story and then take action and get connected.

Just as healthcare needs to focus more on preventing illness and disease before they become issues, proactive efforts prevent loneliness and create conditions for meaningful human connection and strong communities. GenWell is leading the way in Canada.

I had so many members come up to tell me how FANTASTIC the presentation was and how true your words were; many were touched deeply and got lost in their own recollections of past connections. Many recognized in their lives those important moments of connection and the value they had and continue to have for them.

The keynote was excellent and timely. The focus on social health and the effects the pandemic has had on our mental and physical health, cannot be overstated.
